Welcome to Island Hearts. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.islandhearts.co and the Island Hearts app (together, the "Service"). By joining our waitlist or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. Island Hearts is a faith-based community for Christian singles from the Caribbean and the global Caribbean diaspora.

2. Christian community standards

Members agree to interact with respect, honesty, and integrity. We prohibit harassment, hate speech, sexually explicit content, catfishing, solicitation, and any conduct that harms the community. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the content you share. Profile information must be accurate and represent you truthfully. Impersonation is not permitted.

4. Waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free. You consent to receive email updates about the launch and may unsubscribe at any time. Founding-member perks are offered at our discretion and may change before launch.

5. Subscriptions & payments

When paid features become available, pricing, billing cycles, refund policy, and cancellation terms will be clearly disclosed at checkout and in your account settings.

6. Content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant Island Hearts a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, host, and moderate that content for the purpose of operating the Service.

7. Safety disclaimer

Island Hearts helps you meet people but cannot guarantee outcomes or verify every member. Use your own judgment when interacting, sharing information, or meeting in person.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or endanger the community.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Island Hearts is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
